Scientists at Liverpool John Moores University analyzed hours of footage to get the perfect formula. They deduced that the speed of the object should be not less than 65mph. In addition, the person has to approach the object at a specific angle, and namely 20 to 30 degrees. The maximum allowable distance inside the boundary condition is 0.5 meters.

Waiting before striking is important, but if the wait is longer than 0.41 milliseconds then it is futile.
