Identify this very famous code :

^ ^ v v left right left right B A (select)

Now connect this with an American dial up company, google, a 2007 Canadian-American movie(and also the US Paralympics), and facebook?

Correct! Yay! Remember Contra? The 30 lives code? Wunnerful nostalgia!

Abhinav, wierd dude, spande and chinthan get it right!

Google incorporated it into Google Reader
The Moldy Preaches’ “Anyone Else but You”[“Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start/ Just because we use cheats doesn’t mean we’re not smart”]which features on the Juno soundtrack.
Wiki tells me that the song is also in a documentary called Murderball which is about the rivalry between the American and Canadian paraplegic rugby teams.
    And the Facebook Easter Eggs.

Well , all i could come up with is :
the code is called the konami code , started out in the NES console games first one being Gradius(1986)
and with facebook it gives this lens glare effect whenevr you scroll around the page and with google , (google reader actually) it give you this funny ninja theme to the page…

the rest was well above me
