My first question :)

A is a character which appeared first in a 1986 animation feature,produced by C. Later A became the mascot for C’s studio’s animation department, now no longer in operation due to formation of Z. B claimed that A and the movie were a plagiarized from his seminal work.  Hence he did something  to avoid cannibalization. Give me A, B and what did B do?
